Dragon's Dogma 2

Dragon's Dogma 2: A Beggar’s Tale: Clothes and Three Outcomes

At a glance

Follow Albert until he changes clothes and leaves his Common Quarter house, then collect Beggar’s Garb. Give it to Hilda for the outcome in which he stops begging, Albert to preserve his routine, or Celina for the fatal reveal.

Follow Albert and collect the clothes

Watch Albert begging by the fountain in Vernworth’s Merchant Quarter. Follow him toward Walter’s Tavern in the evening, then to his house in the Common Quarter.

Wait for him to change into noble clothes and leave. Once the door unlocks, enter and take Beggar’s Garb. If the house is still locked, continue observing his routine rather than attacking him or forcing a confrontation.

Choose one recipient

Give the garb to Outcome
Albert He pays to get it back and continues his double life.
Hilda at Baldwin Estate Return after a few days; he stops begging, and the branch rewards Onyx.
Celina at Walter’s Tavern Revealing the truth leads to the deaths of Albert and Celina.

Follow up on your chosen branch

The recipients represent different outcomes, not a checklist for collecting every reward. Choose before handing the garb over.

If you want to avoid the fatal reveal while ending his begging, use Hilda’s branch and return to check the result. The quest handover and any required follow-up, rather than simply finding the clothes, determine the ending.
